❓ FAQ

Why are there three wires if my doorbell only uses two?
The black wire is an antenna and should stick out slightly for better signal reception.

How do I pair the receiver?
Plug it in near your chime, press and hold the volume button for 5 seconds, then press the doorbell. The LED will flash when pairing is complete.

Can I buy an extra receiver?
Yes. Most units come pre-paired, but you can pair manually using the volume button if needed.

Can this work with smart video doorbells?
This model may work with certain video doorbells, but we recommend the WET02A (for Blink) or WET01R (for Nest/Ring) for guaranteed compatibility.

🛠️ Troubleshooting Guide

Buzzing or No Sound:

  1. Remove the doorbell button and touch the wires. If buzzing continues, check wiring.
  2. Test the transformer; ensure it outputs 16V–18V. Replace if underpowered.
  3. Check if the red LED on the extender lights up. If not, ensure power is reaching the chime. Replace extender if necessary.

Using with Smart Doorbells:
For high-demand devices like Ring Pro, use a stronger transformer (e.g., 16V/30VA) to prevent power dropouts.
